BackWhat is the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ)?
An EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) is an independant project that involves independant research leading to a written essay of around 5000 words about your research and how you approached your project, and a final presentation where you’ll talk through your process, essay and key skills.
The biggest benefit for many is developing independant reseearch practice in preparation for university and further studies by allowing you to develop and apply decision-making skills, problem-solving skills, initiative; extended planning skills, research, critical-thinking, analytical, synthesis, evaluation and presentation skills.

The EPQ is assessed by submitting coursework consisting of a 5000 word essay.
