At Haggerston School, we believe careers education is about aspiration as much as advice. Our goal is to inspire and equip students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to navigate an ever-changing world of work. We foster strong partnerships with employers, ensuring real-life exposure to career opportunities. Through high-quality guidance, mentoring, and hands-on experiences, we empower students to make informed choices about their futures. By embracing innovation and lifelong learning, we prepare our young people to thrive in careers that may not yet exist, ensuring they are ready for the opportunities of tomorrow.
Our approach at Haggerston School aligns with the Gatsby Benchmarks, ensuring that all students benefit from a comprehensive careers education that is informed by a strong network of industry partners, personal guidance, and opportunities to explore future pathways. We provide staff with the tools, resources, and support they need to deliver high-quality career education that meets these benchmarks and prepares our students for the world beyond school. Join us and become part of a dynamic team that is shaping the next generation's futures with purpose and passion.
At Haggerston School, Careers and Employability is not seen as a ‘bolt-on’ - we aim to ensure that it is fully integrated with the curriculum with its importance understood and valued by all stakeholders.
