Juned Uddin

I am a member of the local school board and was appointed to the board in Spring 2024.

I work as a Civil Servant at the Department for Education leading on contract assurance, grant delivery, data and project portfolio management.  Prior to that, I was an assistant headteacher overseeing curriculum, data & timetabling at a secondary school in the London Borough of Hackney. I graduated from the Queen Mary University of London with a degree in Medical Engineering and from University College London with an MA in Leadership. I currently hold QTS, have completed my PGCE in secondary Science/Maths and have completed a NPQSL.

I am passionate about supporting young people to get the best opportunities possible. Having spent over a decade working in education I am keen to bring my knowledge and experiences to Haggerston School as a board member. Haggerston School has a very exciting journey ahead and I am keen to see the students flourish within it.
